“Spring Snow”

A comely sight indeed it is to see, a world of blossoms on an apple tree. John Bunyan

Shall I ever see again
The flowering of my cherry trees. Frances Hodgson Burnett

While I live in an area where the occasional snowfall or snow flurry may occur in springtime, it’s the “spring snow” that trees provide that is magical. Blossoming trees cause a “spring snow” of petals twirling through the air with just the softest of spring breezes. The ground around the tree becomes a colorful skirt made of flower petals of bright white or various shades of pink.

In fact, this “spring snow” so delights my child’s heart that I think that I need to add a “bucket list” item; a plan to visit a blossoming fruit tree orchard on a breezy spring day.  I can just imagine being completely encircled by a “spring snow” of colorful, fragrant petals drifting down around me!

Even if just in your back yard or neighborhood, I hope that you get to enjoy some blossoming beautiful “spring snow” this year!
