Fall Neighborhood Walks
A little fresh air would be good for you just now. The weather is lovely; and a little stroll in the park will bring the colour back to your cheeks.

Now shall I walk
Or shall I ride?
“Ride,” Pleasure said;
“Walk,” Joy replied.

Did you read the recent blog “Touches of Autumn”? It’s not only in the mountains and forest that you can enjoy touches of autumn---neighborhoods are filled with fall beauty, as well. The photos from this blog were all taken within a few days of each other in my local neighborhood. They are not “spectacular” gallery quality photos but simply images meant to inspire you to go outside to savor beauty of the season.
If only I could share some of the additional aspects of outdoor autumn that delight our other senses... The sound of fallen leaves underfoot crunching with each step and the call of geese headed in a V pattern against the deep blue sky. The damp, earthy smell of wet plants and dirt and the fresh, clean scent of rain. The feel of a light breeze on a sunny day, deliciously cool and warm at the same time.
So, today’s blog is short and sweet, but filled with simple fall pictures to encourage you to get outside, even in your neighborhood, for a refreshing autumn stroll!
